A Government Soldier killed in a Clash Occurred Mogadishu

Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org) Government soldier was killed and two others including a woman was injured overnight at the Howlwadag interjection in Mogadishu after fighting broke out between Somali security forces and armed insurgents, said witness.

 

The fighting flared up after armed men shot died a government soldier who was shopping near the Bakara market the main market in the country.

 

"I saw three men following the soldier from the interjection, few minutes later when he got inside a shop , instantly they open fire, and the soldier was shot died" said Abdulaahi Ahmed, a witness who resides near the interjection.

 

Later, all business activities were suspended and shops were closed down as tension spread out through all the area.

 

On the other hand, a land mine explosion targeted on Ethiopian troop's convoy has occurred in Towfiq village on Wednesday witnesses said.

 

Some reported said the bomb blew up as the vehicle was passing on the land mine buried site.

 

Witnesses told that they could see sphere smolder was rising over the vehicle but its unidentified the casualty of the explosion on the Ethiopian armed force's Ural type vehicle that was passing the exploded location.

 

Since last year fighting claimed more than 6,000 people and more than one million others fled from the capital, as indicated reports by United Nations and local Human Rights groups.
